Gerhard studied physics and mathematics at the Technical University of Graz. In his doctorate (physics) he examines methods for calculating the transport in strongly correlated electron systems (quantum current). He has a passion for numerical methods and simulations, teaches a lot in this subject and is very interested in quantum technologies.In his spare time he is quite active in foodsharing, plays in the university’s theatre group and is involved in many different committees.
